With the holidays, you’ll find a number of shopping opportunities in Massachusetts — from malls and outlets to local art galleries in virtually every region of the state — but for those on the hunt for something unique, why not explore your local boutiques and small businesses?
This year, just outside of Mayor Menino’s office in Boston’s City Hall Plaza, shoppers will find a variety of local and unique gift-getting options at the Holiday Shop on City Hall Plaza!
Featuring fashion trucks from Lola’s Urban Vintage, The Fashion Truck, Green Street Vault, Sterlingwear Of Boston and The Boston Sports Apparel Company, the Holiday Shop on City Hall Plaza kicked off back in November, and will remain open on select dates leading up to Christmas:

  • Wednesday, December 12 – Friday, December 14 (11 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Monday, December 17 – Friday, December 21 (11 AM – 4:30 PM)

Perfect for fashion lovers, art enthusiasts, sneaker buffs, and even sports fans, one of these fashion trucks is bound to have a memorable gift for someone on your holiday shopping list:
Lola’s Urban Vintage — As a true artist, Lola features a selection of jewelry, bags, and accessories often described as “fresh,” “vintage,” and “edgy!” Check out her Yelp page for an insider perspective.
The Fashion Truck — Born with the goal of bringing beautiful new apparel and accessories to the women of the East Coast, The Fashion Truck is a well-curated, lively mix of apparel and trinkets.
Green Street Vault — Boston’s first men’s apparel truck, Green Street Vault carries a selection of handpicked, Boston-based, and nationally known street and skate brands.
Sterlingwear Of Boston — An American company, making timeless American clothing in classic American style. Their signature piece: a stylish peacoat.
The Boston Sports Apparel Company — Providing the highest quality sports designs and artwork in a timely, unique manner through iconic New England sports imagery, The Boston Sports Apparel Company offers the perfect gifts for die-hard sports fans.
Located just outside of the Government Center Green Line stop, the Holiday Shop on City Hall Plaza is the perfect option in the Greater Boston area to wrap up your holiday shopping!
Oh, and moving forward, not only will you discover specialty trucks for food and fashion in and around the Greater Boston area, but you’ll also find the “City Hall To Go” truck — serving city residents where they live, work, and play, providing a select set of city services directly to constituents!
