Boston’s LGBTQ Past

A gay and lesbian culture flourished in Boston, in private homes, the theatre, coffee houses, the baths, and of course, bars. We will follow the footsteps of gay and lesbian friends from the 1840s to the 1980s, from Thoreau’s walks along the Common and Charlotte Cushman’s cross-dressing roles, to the World War II bars and baths, to the AIDS Action Committee and the AIDS memorial quilt project.

This tour is presented in partnership with The History Project, a nonprofit organization that documents, preserves and shares New England’s LGBTQ history.

Modern Party Art: Bag Full Of Pride

Celebrate Pride Month with a colorful paint and sip event with our friends from Modern Party Art on June 7th. This time around we will be painting 15″ tote bags.  The tote bags will be preprinted with images ready to be painted with your choice of vibrant colors. There will be a professional artist guiding you through the process to create your very own piece of art. Arrive by 6:30pm to receive your $10 TOM card to be used at any of the Time Out Market bars or restaurants. Fenway Park Pride Celebration: Boston Red Sox Vs. Colorado Rockies

Join the Red Sox for their annual Pride Celebration at Fenway Park on Tuesday, June 13. Ticket holders who purchase via this special offer will receive an exclusive Red Sox Jersey in Pride colors. North Shore Pride

The mission of North Shore Pride, Inc is to promote the general welfare and unity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community within the North Shore, and to advocate for the acceptance of the members of the LGBTQ community by the broader North Shore community. The organization engages in activities designed to promote greater understanding of LGBTQ issues by engaging in fundraising activities and partnering with allied individuals and organizations.

Pride Night At Gillette: New England Revolution Vs. Inter Miami FC

Head to Gillette as the New England Revolution take on Inter Miami CF during their annual Pride Night.

The Revolution incorporate various matchday Pride elements such as custom kits and stadium lighting. Select personnel are invited to take part in activities around the event including practice visits, prematch field passes, prematch ceremonies, and meet-and-greets. Ashland is United is proud to be an ally of the LGTBQ+ community and we are happy to announce the inauguration of the first Pride Month celebration in Ashland. The event will be held on Sunday, June 4th 1-4pm, at the Corner Spot.

In addition to fun activities, several amazing organizations that support the LGBTQ+ community (BAGLY, RISE/JRI and OUT Metrowest) will be present to give participants support, counseling and awareness on many LGTBQ+ topics.

Last year, more than 6,000 attendees converged on Downtown Springfield for a family-friendly day of fun and celebration in the sun, and we can’t wait to do it again. Join us!

Celebrate Pride Month: Sunrise Hike at Arcadia

This program is open to anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA2S+. If you are not a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, please look for other Mass Audubon programs that are open to allies.

Celebrate Pride Month with us early in the morning! Meet at 4:45 am in the Arcadia parking area. After introductions, we will walk Arcadia’s trails, stopping to admire the sunrise at 5:17 am.

Our hike will take around 30-45 minutes, depending on the group’s interests. The walk will be at a relaxed pace with moments to stop and listen for birds and other wildlife. Our route will ascend and descend unpaved inclines as well as flat ground, which may contain tree roots and uneven footing. Adults.

Berkshire Pride Tea Dance

This is the 18-and-over pride party you aren’t going to want to miss! In partnership with Berkshire Stonewall, Berkshire Pride and sponsorship generously provided by BlueQ, Naumkeag is hosting Berkshire Pride’s second annual Tea Dance in the gardens at Naumkeag.  We are excited to welcome back the legendary DJ RuBot (Occupy the Disco) from his Paradisco residency at Le Bain at the Standard Highline in NYC, who will be providing the music that is going to get the Berkshire’s LGBTQIA+ community and their allies moving to his beats.  Parking onsite will be limited and will require the additional purchase of a $5 parking pass for every vehicle parking on site. You can also choose to carpool with someone who has already purchased a parking pass or be dropped off at the front door. We encourage you to carpool when possible!

The goal of this Nature Walk is to hold space for queer youth to connect, collaborate, hold conversations and inspire one another.
