A group of small businesses located in the picturesque and historic Brookfields, in Central Massachusetts. Some are open full time, some a few days per week. They include a blacksmith, clock repair person, primitive and antiques dealers, an apple orchard which also sells apple dumplings to die for, other assorted foodstuffs and candies, and there's a barn to browse through. There's a natural food store also featuring gifts, and a barn on Route 67 filled with lovely furniture and gifts - find the perfect pumpkin here in the fall! There's a superb inn, where you can enjoy a fireplace feast or dine alfresco in the herb garden.
These friendly folk meet monthly to plan special offerings to promote travel and tourism in the Brookfields and beyond. They welcome inquiries and visitors. Check out their website, or just go to West Brookfield, Routes 9 & 67, look for the splendid common with the fountain, the bandstand, and follow the map - you can print it out from the website.
