Chef Jon McKechnie is Gloucester born and raised, which has influenced his style and methods of cooking. Chef Jon is a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation and has worked all over Massachusetts, most recently coming from The Country Club in Brookline, MA. When it comes to the future of 1606, Chef Jon is working with local purveyors to play with different flavors and pay homage to America's oldest seaport.
