Outside the Box COVER

The Outside the Box Performing Arts Festival is another

Topping this week’s “Wicked Free Summer Fun” is the Outside the Box Performing Arts Festival on Boston Common, from July 14-19.
Dozens of stages and small performance tents are already spread across the 50-acre Common (the nation’s oldest public park, founded in 1634), offering music and dance, theater and puppet shows, plus pop-up performance art, jesters and circus clowns.
Check out top acts like Gin Blossoms, Guster, Bad Rabbits, Kacey Musgraves, along with performers from the hit TV show The Voice!
We’ve divided the “Wicked Free Summer Fun” listings across six regions: Greater Boston, North of Boston & Greater Merrimack Valley, South of Boston, Cape Cod and The Islands, Central Mass, and Western Mass.

Here in Massachusetts, we’re proud of our iconic people, places and events. And this summer you’ll have a chance to enjoy many of them, for FREE!
So, to crib a line from our favorite theme song this summer: Everyone needs a little adventure in their lives. Let’s go!
