Although peak foliage is still a week or two away for much of Massachusetts, we’ve already seen some beautiful autumn landscapes emerge.
As October goes on, the foliage will become even more dazzling, providing a most excellent reason to do a little traveling and outdoor adventuring before the chillier weather arrives.
Of course, it can be tricky to know which leaves are getting the brightest color, but that’s where massvacation.com/fall comes in to lend a helping hand.
On the website, you can find a unique, interactive map, which pulls in photos that include the hashtag #MAinstafoliage from Twitter and Instagram users across the Commonwealth, giving you a real-time look at foliage conditions in Massachusetts.
In addition to the map, massvacation.com/fall also has other practical resources, such as a collection of scenic driving routes, along with a nifty rundown of autumn events and activities taking place around Massachusetts.
During September, there were many spectacular #MAinstafoliage scenes sent our way. Here are 10 of our favorites.
As always, we owe a big thank you to everyone who has taken photos and been kind enough to let us share.
