Did you know that Massachusetts boasts twelve fantastic ski areas? From the smaller-scale spots perfect for newbies to 1150’ verticals, Massachusetts’ ski and snow scene is lively for all ages and thrill seekers — oh, and did we mention they’re all just a short drive away?
This winter in Massachusetts, we invite you to enjoy a full day of skiing and riding on a quarter tank of gas; in other words, Ski Local!
We’re all about bringing you one-step-closer to your Massachusetts experience; whether it’s through one of our pre-made, full-of-fun itineraries, or our can’t-miss 50 Under $50, we’ll help you determine where to go, where to stay, things to do, and how to get around.
Our latest way to help you enjoy the best Massachusetts has to offer is Ski Local. With Ski Local, you can explore all twelve of Massachusetts’ ski areas — everything from their current conditions in real time to a cool, good-to-know tip. And you can also enter for a chance to win ski passes on a weekly basis. Not to mention, for the non-skiers and non-riders, you’ll find a collection of other winter fun events and activities across the state.
Here’s a quick 101 to walk you through all that you’ll find:

Did you know that you can indulge in freshly made, hot waffles at Wachusett Mountain’s Waffle Cabin? Pretty cool, huh? Within our Ski Areas & Conditions section, not only will you find all you’ll need to know from a location and conditions standpoint, but also for each of Massachusetts’ twelve ski spots, you’ll get a fun tip.

We recognize that featuring a collection of useful, ski-related tid-bits is only half the battle these days, so this winter, not only do we want you to discover how to Ski Local, but we want you to show us how you Ski Local!
