It’s October, and with the fall season comes breathtaking foliage, local harvests, festivals, and tastes resembling all things pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon.

What else comes to mind with October? Hint: it’s spooktacular!
Salem’s Haunted Happenings, of course! Every year, an estimated 250,000 visitors travel just north of Boston to experience this notable month-long celebration of Halloween in Massachusetts — chockfull of fall festivities and spooky attractions.
Between foliage cruises, a haunted harbor cruise, farmers markets, a collection of tours and local tastes, there’s no doubt that Haunted Happenings has an event for everyone, as festivities run through October 31st.

And for those of you planning to attend on Halloween night, don’t miss the Halloween Finale Fireworks that go off over the North River where Washington Street and Bridge Street meet from 10 PM to 10:30 PM.
