FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KURIOS continues the Cirque tradition of wowing audiences with incredible physical talents with unbridled creativity, this time with a nouveau steampunk-meets-vaudeville vibe. Acts include contorting sea nymphs, a flying cyclist, and upside-down balancing artists. And just beyond the canvas walls, East Boston and Winthrop are all about authentic, local experiences.
Think: hidden beaches and family-run eateries that have been around for decades dot the peninsula. Santarpio’s pizza, for instance, has been a landmark eatery since 1903, serving up some of the best pies you’ve ever had the pleasure of sinking your teeth into. And there’s Winthrop Beach; an in-the-know spot with a laid-back vibe, perfect for escaping touristy crowds and soaking up some summer sun. The list goes on!
With shows running for just a few more weeks (July 10th is the finale!), and summer on the horizon, there’s no time to waste. Take the weekend, or a few personal days from work, to take in the show and explore the best of Eastie and Winthrop! Download this 36 Hours in Eastie + Winthrop itinerary for all the details:
