Ysoaps promotes self-care and natural products

Ysoaps is a women- and minority-owned soap business available for purchase online and in boutiques across MA. Below, the team shares some details on their business and the importance of supporting local.

Describe your business in 50 words or less.

Ysoaps creates artisanal handmade soaps and skincare products for all skin types by incorporating natural ingredients. Some of these are sourced from local farms.

What makes your business unique?

Ysoaps brings clean products by supporting other small businesses. As we sourced from local farms, we also collaborated with them. One exclusive product is made for each business that sells our soaps. Our products are free of harmful chemicals and toxins, like paraben, detergent, and sulfate.

What does your business look like?

Ysoaps is an online shop that offers shipping, delivery and curbside pick up, by ordering at ysoapsnb.com. We also enjoy doing pop up events and/or farmers markets around Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut.

Why is it important to support businesses like yours?

Your support is important because you are not only supporting a business but a dream. We want people to feel comfortable while shopping their favorite products. All this without the concern of not being able to read the ingredients or not knowing the short- and long-term effects on our bodies. We want to give you a joyful and a successful experience finding your preferred products for your me-time.

Do you want to say anything to your customers or guests?

Shop local, support small! We are a Latina women-owned business. Hablamos español!

How has your business changed or adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic?

We have been following the CDC guidelines at all times, protecting ourselves, and helping others by using masks and socially distancing when appropriate.

Ysoaps has changed the delivery and pick-ups for contactless orders. Communication is the key to keep the business running while lots of changes. Shipping is the best method if you’d like to order, but we understand if you’d like to save some money and if you are local.
