Herrell’s Ice Cream in Northampton, MA is woman-owned in the beautiful Pioneer Valley. Herrell’s gained national recognition for its award-winning ice cream, No-Moo® dairy-free frozen dessert, award-winning hot fudge sauces, and exceptional quality. 2023 is the 50th anniversary of the Mix-In (Smoosh-in) invented by our founder.
What makes your business unique?
All products are store-made and kosher-certified. We strive to be the best at ice cream and frozen dessert making and love inventing new products for our customers. For us, the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
What does your business look like?
Herrell’s offers a variety of 60 frozen desserts daily: ice cream cakes, baked goods, baskets, and fun with our bears Max and Myrna. Herrell’s is a small woman-owned business located in the heart of the Pioneer Valley in Western Massachusetts. One of the goals of our ice cream shop is to make people happy. It is ice cream after all. We encourage customers to come in, grab a cone, sit, relax, and enjoy. The atmosphere at Herrell’s is fun and easygoing. Most customers enjoy our product and leave with a smile. During busy times there might be a wait, but it won’t be long until you are served your favorite flavor on a waffle cone with sprinkles!
