Lexington Celebrates! Curator's Exhibit Tour

The 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War is right around the corner. How will we celebrate it? Whose stories will get told, and how patriotic will we feel in troubled times? These questions have plagued every commemoration since 1875. From massive parades to frozen dinners and political protesters, April 19 commemorations have been elaborate, joyous, and often completely chaotic. Join Lexington Historical Society curators for a special tour of our current exhibit, Lexington Celebrates! Parades, Pageants, & Pandemonium, to get an inside look at the anniversaries of ages past.
