2020, 50 minutes, English, Dir. Peter Rosen

A great pianist and composer, Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943) escaped from Soviet Russia in the 1920s and found a new life in the United States. This is the first comprehensive biography of Rachmaninoff created by American filmmakers. Featuring commentary and performances by today's most respected pianists, this is a story of overcoming hardship and eventual redemption through the power of music. Director Peter Rosen will lead a Q+A after the film.
