Hands on History Week

One week each month we offer hands-on programs to inspire a love of history, art, and culture in our visitors. Designed to be fun for all ages, these daily story times, crafts, and opportunities to get up close with objects are all free with Museum admission.

June is Portuguese Heritage Month! We'll celebrate by reading about a canine hero from Portugal's history and make paper mosaic Barcelos Roosters, a Portuguese symbol of good luck!
