Hand Sewn Balsam Fir Sachet
This program will be held indoors in one of our well-ventilated classrooms. Group size will not exceed current state restrictions.

Bring the scent of the forest indoors for the winter! Using hand sewing and embroidery techniques students will make a fabric sachet to fill with fresh- scented balsam fir needles to use in a drawer, closet or for home décor. Students will decorate the sachet with simple hand embroidered designs, buttons, ribbons, and beads. All materials are included.

Suzanne Hauerstein is a professional teaching artist and the Coordinator of Volunteer & Intern Services at Tower Hill. She has over 25 years of experience designing and facilitating art-based programs for informal learning environments. Suzanne is committed to creating programs that are accessible, positive, and enjoyable learning experiences for students of all ages and abilities.
