New England Light Opera
Founded in January of 2001, New England Light Opera aims to stage productions and concerts of operetta and early musical theatre in English; offer professional performance opportunities to local singers, actors, instrumentalists, directors, and technicians; and increase accessibility to, and protect the historical legacy of, significant works of light opera and musical theater through research, reconstruction, translation, and performance.
