A Boston tradition since 1877, the Swan Boats glide through the Boston Public Garden lagoon, taking visitors on a peaceful 15-minute paddleboat cruise. The boats are the only ones of their kind in the world, and were inspired by the opera Lohengrin, a medieval German story of a knight who crosses a river in a boat to save his princess.
