Located in the Central Square Cultural District in the heart of Cambridge, the MIT Museum is an inspiring and fun place to visit.

Enjoy holograms, new research & inventions, photography, festivals, workshops, as well as permanent and changing exhibitions.
The MIT Museum also features the beloved kinetic sculptures of Arthur Ganson, the history of artificial intelligence and Kismet (pictured above) The MIT Museum is a showcase of the most recent cutting-edge research from labs across MIT - students and scientists make regular appearances at all our programs.

Check the website calendar for unique programs for all ages, fascinating workshops, and Second Friday activities for all ages. Special family events include: the infamous chain reaction event at F.A.T. on Nov. 28, 2014, FebFest (Lights.Cameras. Science!) Feb.16 - 21st, and the annual Cambridge Science Festival from April 17 - 26, 2015.

Museum admission fees are $10/Adult and $5 for under 18. The last Sunday of each month (Sept - June) is free all day long.
