Cross Rip Gallery

The name Cross Rip Gallery was chosen by artist/owner Georgene Riedl not only to recognize its location in Harwich Port on Nantucket Sound and the legendary "rips" found in its waters, but also to symbolize many different currents of art meeting in one place to create an exciting and ever-changing medium of artistic expression. Situated in an 1830's Cape, Cross Rip Gallery features contemporary abstract and figurative fine art by award-winning and emerging artists . The gallery specializes in "art with an edge", so that visitors know when they step inside that they will be rewarded with dynamic, imaginative and innovative work with fresh perspectives. Cross Rip Gallery is not only set-up "Gallery style", but sculpture, paintings, photography, reliefs, watercolors, and collages are also displayed in a residential setting so that collectors can easily visualize how a work of art would look in a home setting with natural lighting.
