On the first Saturday of the month, Western Avenue | Studios & Lofts artists host Open Studios - welcoming the public to see the vast array of art made on site. Come see for yourself why Western Avenue is the creative soul of Lowell.
Western Avenue is housed in former textile mill buildings that are now 100% artist spaces bringing together over 350 artists. We think that makes us the second largest artist community in the U.S. - right here in Lowell MA!! The Studios are open for you to wander the halls seven days a week. Loading Dock Gallery is open and supports a cooperative of 30+ artists and is open Wednesday - Sunday. WA is also home to Tiny Arms Coffee open Thursday - Sunday and Navigation Brewing Company with their taproom open Thursday - Sunday.
Open Studios is a year round free event with plenty of off street free parking and is friendly pet friendly.
