Hello, 2025! Here in Massachusetts, we’re getting excited about all the upcoming sports to enjoy this year. Below, you’ll find a sampling of sporting events including the hometown teams, plus special events and iconic annual events, with something for everyone all across the state.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame showcases rising basketball talent at its annual Spalding HoopHall Classic.

January 16-20, Blake Arena at Springfield College, Springfield

 

Professional Women’s Hockey League’s Boston Fleet host the Minnesota Frost in a regular season rematch of the inaugural season’s championship pairing on February 16.

Massachusetts will be lacrosse central as it hosts all the NCAA lacrosse championships. Gillette Stadium will host the NCAA Divisions I, II, and III Men’s lacrosse championship semifinals and finals and the NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse championship finals. Stonehill College in Easton will host the NCAA Division II Women’s lacrosse semifinals and finals. Babson College in Wellesley will host the NCAA Division III Women’s lacrosse championship semifinals and finals.

The Worcester Bravehearts baseball team kick-off their home schedule versus the Nashua Silver Knights.
