Help Boston welcome the Tall Ships to our great city at the Grand Parade of Sail on Saturday, June 17th. Hop on Board and Learn to Sail

For a once in a lifetime opportunity, the public will be able to join Crew and Cadets on board of the Tall Ships at their designated locations. Whether you are just there to admire or you want to take your turn at what it’s like to sail (no experience necessary), here’s your chance!
Saturday, June 17th from 4:00pm to 10:00pm and Sunday, June 18th to Wednesday, June 21st from 10:00am to 10:00pm. More information, as well as boarding times will be available closer to the event.

Welcome Crew and Cadets

Presented by Downtown Boston BID the parade will take place from Seaport Boulevard to Downtown Crossing.

Salute to the Sun

As the sun goes down, enjoy two exciting nights of musical and military entertainment including the U.S. Coast Guard Drill Team, Lexington Minutemen, Constitution Color Guard, Dan Clark the Singing Trooper, and many more. Join them Tuesday, June 20th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Charlestown Navy Yard and Wednesday, June 21st from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Fan Pier.

Avoid the traffic!

As Sail Boston 2017 will attract thousands of attendees, plan accordingly and take advantage of some easy ways to get around…no one likes to get stuck in traffic! Sail Boston encourages guests not to drive into the city, as there will be limited parking, restricted travel, and road closures all week. Here are some options to consider:
● Sail Boston Express – reservation-based direct, luxury bus connection to and from various points throughout New England
● Sail Boston Circulator – shuttle connection service to and from Seaport District, North Station, and Charlestown
● Take the T – Sail Boston will offer MBTA passes for shuttles around the city.
