Whether it is your first visit to Provincetown or your one-hundredth visit, it can be hard to find good places to eat for the whole family. After a long day of activities and programs at Family Week, who doesn’t want to continue the family bonding over a good meal? In order to help make the decision process a little easier, here are some great options.
Family Style Restaurants
Fanizzi’s Restaurant by the Sea
This family style restaurant has something for everyone, offering a wide range of dishes alongside a huge seafood selection. With a medium price range, you have the ability to order anything from Cajun seafood alfredo to curried chicken salad. In addition, there are options for kids and gluten-free on separate menus. Open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, it is a great place to take the family anytime.  539 Commercial St.,, call ahead reservations at 508-487-1964.

The Mayflower Café
The Mayflower Café provides reasonably priced options for the whole family with an extensive menu and kids menu. Options include surf & turf, Portuguese fish and chips, oyster tacos, and more. If you are looking for a lighter or more health-oriented option, look no further than Canteen. Using local and fresh ingredients, they create intricate and healthy options for lunch and dinner. Additionally, they have a lot of local and microbrew beers and wines for the adults to enjoy. Not a traditional “family-style” restaurant, but  good for families looking for healthier and innovative options! 225 Commercial St., 508-487-3800 (no reservations).
Quicker Options
Box Lunch

Spiritus Pizza
Providing slices to eat on the spot or pizzas to take out, Spiritus is a local favorite in Provincetown. Large, cheap slices satisfy any craving, and who doesn’t love pizza? Also, since they stay open late, you can swing by after a night out on the town!  190 Commercial St., 508-487-2808.
