Sure, some skiers like to head out to the Colorado Rockies or even to the Swiss Alps, but here in Massachusetts, we have plenty of top notch skiing at places like Wachusett Mountain, Jiminy Peak, Nashoba Valley and the Blue Hills.

With a dozen great resorts all across the state Massachusetts is a skiing wonderland, and even in mild winters, we have plenty of snow to keep skiers happy.   You can find full details at our Ski Local, Ski Massachusetts page.
If you’re interested in cross-country skiing, the Mass Office of Conservation & Recreation (DCR) has you covered.  DCR has 70 cross-county ski trails throughout the state’s wonderful park system, from the World’s End in Hingham and the Cape Cod Rail Trail to Halibut Point State Park in Rockport and the Mt. Tom State Reservation in Holyoke.
Here is a list of hotels, inns and campgrounds for those weekend ski trips!
In Massachusetts, we like to enjoy winter.  We hope you do too.
