If you’re looking for a fast-paced sporting experience, look no further than the famed Cyclo-cross Gran Prix of Gloucester, taking place at Stage Fort Park on September 26-27, 2015. It attracts hundreds of professional and amateur cyclists from all over the globe, to compete in hopes of qualifying for the Verge New England Cyclo-cross Series.
In case you don’t know, Cyclocross is considered the most spectator-friendly form of bicycle racing, and has been a popular European event since the early 20th century. In recent years it has gained a steady following here in the USA.

Now in its seventeenth year, organizers of the Gloucester Gran Prix hope to put a twist on this year’s race, using a combination of traditional elements as well as new features throughout the course, which has been billed as ‘the most beautiful race course in North America.”
