Whether it’s for a day trip, long weekend or vacation, summer is the time to get out and about.
So…where to go?
Well, if you’re ever on the lookout for ideas, our #PulseOfBoston microsite is a most excellent place to find them.
#PulseOfBoston, which we launched a few months ago, gives visitors a snapshot of what’s happening each day in our fair capital through Instgram.
Since March, there have been thousands of photos tagged with #PulseOfBoston, showing everything from Charles River sunsets to Darth Vader at Fenway Park.
To help you noodle on what to see during the next couple months, here are five of our favorite recent snapshots.
As always, a big-time thank you to all of the talented people who have submitted photos, and a special one to those who generously allow us to re-share.

If you’re interested in sharing one of your own Boston photos for a chance to be featured on the microsite, it’s quite easy: just take a cool photo of what’s happening in Boston and then tag #PulseOfBoston when you post!
Afterwards, keep an eye on the site and our Instagram account, where we’re also sharing several captivating #PulseOfBoston scenes every week.
If you’re an Instagrammer in Massachusetts from outside of the Boston area, you can always tag #visitma to get your photo on our radar, too.
Not big on Instagram? Not a problem at all. We’re also posting some of our favorites #PulseOfBoston scenes on Facebook and Twitter, so you can always follow along there.
