In March, we introduced #pulseofboston, a new way to keep tabs on all of the cool things going on in Boston every day. Check it out here.
For those who aren’t yet familiar, the way that #pulseofboston works is simple.
Each day, the website pulls in Instagram photos taken around Boston and displays them in tiles. By toggling the navigation, you can scroll through the hours of the day, getting a glimpse of what the last 24 hours looked like in Boston.
Since the start of #pulseofboston a few weeks ago, more than 1,400 photos have already been tagged with the hashtag, showing everything from spontaneous concerts to stunning sunsets to exquisite meals.
We owe a major thank you to everyone who has helped bring #pulseofboston to life. So, to everyone who has contributed since the launch of the website: thank you!
Now, as a treat for your eyes (and maybe artistic inspiration), here are five of our favorite #pulseofboston photos from the past few weeks. A special thanks to those who took these and allowed us to share.

Want to try your own hand? It’s very easy. After you take a photo of Boston on Instagram, just tag #pulseofboston as you post it. Then keep an eye on the website to see if it’s featured.
If Instagram isn’t your cup of tea, we’re also sharing great #pulseofboston photos on Facebook and Twitter, so keep an eye out for them there.
Need something to get yourself going? Here are a bunch of places where the #pulseofboston is always beating.
