Over the course of the past couple months, talk of warmer weather has been easier to come by than actual warm weather in Massachusetts.
This last week, however, has reminded us all that sunny days and breezier temperatures are indeed making their way here in real earnest now.
And as spring moves into the city, our new microsite, #PulseOfBoston, gives you a gorgeous new way to watch it all.
#PulseofBoston, which launched In March, is an interactive site that pulls Instagram photos of Boston in each day, providing a real-time glimpse of what’s happening around the city.
During the past couple of weeks, what’s been happening is the beginning of spring. To get you in the mood, here are five of our favorite scenes to signal the season’s arrival.
As always, a big thank you to everyone who has shared images with us:

Want to submit one of your own Instagram photos to the website? It’s very easy. Plus, with most of spring and all of summer to come, there’s plenty of time to capture Boston in fine form.
To take part, just snap a photo of the capital and tag #PulseOfBoston when you publish your post. Afterwards, keep an eye on our Instagram account, where we announce weekly themes, and the website itself, to see if your photo is featured.
If Instagram doesn’t float your boat but you still want to see the terrific photos, not a problem at all. We’ll still be sharing top #PulseofBoston images throughout the next few months on Facebook and Twitter, where you’re more than welcome to take a peek.
What do you consider the first sign of spring in Boston? Let us know below in the comments!
