A Wicked Road Trip in Worcester!

There’s nothing better than an adventure packed road trip with friends and family. Combined with the perfect playlist, and an itinerary full of activities, a Massachusetts-inspired road trip can be a special experience — one where driving is only part of the fun.
You’ll find no shortage of scenic drives around here — from leaf peeping along the Mohawk Trail to breathtaking, coastal views on Cape Cod — but all driving aside, this summer, we encourage you to embark on a road trip that’s chockfull of experiences. You know, things like splashing in the ocean, savoring a mouth-watering bite to eat, or just simply enjoying a leisurely afternoon exploring one of Massachusetts’ many gems.

Today, on MassFinds, we’d like to introduce you to “The Heart of New England,” a road trip that spans Central Massachusetts, featuring local art, food, and the outdoors.
Starting with a visit to the Worcester Art Museum, a world-renowned museum known for its eclectic works, is a must. Currently featuring a number of exhibits, like Kennedy To Kent State, the Museum is also in the process of currently integrating a number of pieces from the Higgins Armory collection.

Also in Worcester, for lunch, head over to Coney Island Hot Dog featuring famously-delicious, award-winning hot dogs in a landmark location. Voted “Best Hot Dogs in Worcester,” and known as a Phantom Gourmet ‘Hidden Jewel,’ George’s menu is simple, but fittingly nostalgic.
A short drive over to Sterling, MA, and you’ll find Davis Family Farm, offering a number of family-friendly farmland adventures and activities, and even the Davis Farm Mega Maze (which is currently under construction), one of New England’s most-challenging corn mazes!

And after a day on the farm, you can top-off your adventure with dinner at O’Connor’s Restaurant & Bar, a casual Irish restaurant and bar with an urban feel, serving Irish, European and American favorites seasoned with contemporary culinary ideas. You can check out their full menu here.
