With the spring season just around the corner, who’s ready for an outdoor adventure? On Saturday, March 23rd, journey to Peddocks Island, part of the Boston Harbor Islands, for Artscapes, an experiential, family-friendly outdoor adventure that combines the likes of nature with an artistic twist!
Enjoy outdoor painting, photography, art discussions, and an overall beautiful, early-spring day exploring the winding trails, and the circuitous shorelines of one of the largest and most diverse islands in the harbor. Program activities include a yoga workshop, a digital photography workshop, watercolor painting, and kids crafts.
Once home to American Indians, militiamen, prisoners of war, farmers, and summer vacationers, Peddocks Island still features a number of historic structures, and unique geologic features — all of which, appropriately make for the perfect artistic-inspiring outdoor adventure.
