From comfort food at local eateries to the award-winning, gourmet cuisine at some of the hottest restaurants around, there’s no doubt that Massachusetts boasts a bite to eat that’ll satisfy everyone’s inner-foodie — and for those that are looking to discover a new taste this holiday season, look to the Eat Boutique Holiday Market!
On Sunday, December 9th at the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter in Boston, the Market will feature 40 food and drink makers, along with a set of notable cookbook authors, and food partners — all making for a celebration of local, fabulous food, while also providing the perfect opportunity for those looking to dive into some holiday shopping.
Visitors will find products from Island Creek Oysters, Liddabit Sweets, Tea Cuvee, Suss Sweets, Nobscot Artisan Cheese, Beehive Kitchenware, Lark Fine Foods, Bola Granola, as well as The Urban Grape, and samples from some of Eat Boutiques favorite wine, beer and cordial makers.
With general admission tickets still available, the Market is set to run from 1 PM–5 PM, with the following cookbook signing schedule:
- 12-1 PM: Marisa McClellan (Food in Jars), and Joy Wilson (Joy the Baker)
- 1-3 PM: Marisa McClellan (Food in Jars), Joy Wilson (Joy the Baker), Katie Workman (The Mom 100 Cookbook), and Aran Goyoaga (Small Plates and Sweet Treats)
- 3-5 PM: Beatrice Peltre (La Tartine Gourmande), Liz Gutman and Jen King (The Liddabit Sweets Cookbook), Maria Speck (Ancient Grains for Modern Meals), and Amy Traverso (The Apple Lovers Cookbook)
There’s no better way to kick off the holiday season than with a taste of something local, right? So, without a doubt, if you’re shopping for the family foodie this year, or just looking to freshen up your Massachusetts-made palate, the Eat Boutique Holiday Market is a fantastic local event.
